Presentation Title

The Journey to Safety Program Improvement How to Achieve the GASE Award

About the Presentation

This workshop will review the journeys to safety excellence of three Pennsylvania companies, detailing the steps each took to become a winner of the Governor’s Award for Safety Excellence (GASE).  The GASE award recognizes successful employer-employee joint safety programs, which result in the achievement of safety excellence.  Only a handful of companies receive this highly competitive award. Information gained from these nominations provides valuable best practices that are shared across the state.  During the workshop Labor and Industry will step you through the GASE application, review process, timeline and the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation’s onsite visit.
